Amaris Caffe In Viterbo

Fantastic brioche and hood. Too bad it's closed during the holidays

Worth a visit... especially for the homemade cakes and tarts

If you enjoy modest but real life experiences in small city Italy, rather than the pricey tourist international versions in the biggest cities, this is a wonderful neighborhood cafe to try. The drinks, the in-house-prepared foods, of course the coffee, were always great, and all the serving staff were terrific to me. Beyond the staff, even the other customers were cordial and became friendly neighbors to me after a few visits. My favorite cafe in all of Viterbo, among so many wonderful places in that great ancient city. Don't miss it.
