Good food, but be careful when ordering off the menu. Giuseppe suggested a fish for two, which we imagined would have a lower value than 2 identical individual dishes (50.00 Euros), which to our surprise we were charged more (60.00 Euros). I thought it was an unethical stance.

Very friendly staff and excellent food. A great place to stop for dinner if in San Gimignano or the surrounding area. Really excellent.

We arrived after two in the afternoon at the accommodation that is right next door so there wasn't much else to choose from, it had good reviews so we tried it. When we entered it was completely full and they told us that the kitchen was full, that if we waited 20-30 minutes they could feed us. We waited, we didn't have many alternatives and I have to say that the wait was worth it. It was a surprise when they told us that they didn't make pizzas at lunch, that's what we had chosen, so we had to change our plans and chose pasta and risotto. The pasta was good but the risotto was spectacular, the wine was also good and the service from the waiter was very good. He's a peculiar guy but he knows exactly what he's doing. The desserts, my phone died and I couldn't take photos but they were good. Normal price-quality and they invited us to a very good limoncello before coffee. In the evening when we returned to the accommodation we ordered pizzas to take away and they were quite good, for my taste the dough was a little big but this is to everyone's taste, I like them a little thinner but I can't say that they were bad because they were good . The place was full of people from the area, what they were serving to the rest of the tables looked very good, really, with very generous quantities, we went on Sunday and we had the feeling that it is a place where families go to eat from the area on Sundays. They have a very large area for children to play and being away from the nearest town there is no risk of traffic that may exist in other places.

Absolutely worth trying, delicious meat, very kind and knowledgeable staff, fantastic owner!! We will definitely be back.
