Antica Trattoria Innarone In Caserta

We spent Easter Monday here, everything was good and generous in portions

Ancient trattoria that has existed for decades. The location is a little out of the way and it's not easy to get there. Then the car park is accessed with a small but steep ramp and many low cars touch the floor or worse the nose. So be careful and go slowly. The restaurant is a little outdated. If you can, choose the internal room with the fireplace. As for the dishes, they are of quality, traditional with classic Campania cuisine. I recommend breasts and beans, grilled lamb, tripe with potatoes... Genoese... in short, dishes that are not very light but really good. You will be delighted. On the other hand, the service is poor. Only one person in the room...I think the owner...who forgets things or misrepresents them and makes you wait forever. I asked for panna cotta with caramel and I received panna cotta with wild fruit. I asked for a grappa at the end of the meal... it never arrived. I asked for the bill and after 20 minutes I got up and went to the cash register alone to pay... That's all... Positive note? The bill . For 2 people with half a liter of red and 1 first course, two second courses, a side dish and two desserts...45 euros😀 A nice surprise!

Excellent restaurant. Homemade cuisine with traditional dishes prepared with high quality products. The staff, led by Mr. Francesco, is extremely friendly and nice.

Tradizione di ristoratori secolare! Il consiglio alla cacciatora è un must.

Ci sono stato con una coppia proveniente dalla Florida, la moglie originaria della provincia di Avellino erano 45 anni che non ritornava nel paese nativo... Hanno voluto degustare pietanze storiche campane. Dopo aver visitato la Reggia di Caserta, una cara amica mi ha consigliato di portarli proprio da Iannarone dove abbiamo trovato piatti tipici e storici del casertano, ambiente carino da osteria antica, ampio parcheggio privato, personale molto cortese e prezzi modici.
