Hi, very good but unfortunately the portions I would say are decidedly small 😐 quantity/price ratio we're not there! The Bolognese cutlet marked as "large" didn't even take up half a plate!

Dinner with friends in this place, and I must say that we all left satisfied. We tried several first and second courses, all of a reasonable standard, and in not small portions: the first courses in particular were well received, but the second courses were not bad either. Friendly service, prices in line with the average of the historic center of Bologna. In short, a restaurant that I would like to recommend.

For the first time in the place, we chose the place for reviews and we got it right. Excellent cuisine, fresh and tasty products. The waitress was very friendly and kind, excellent service. We'll be back.

Un tortellone ripieno di zucca al ragù bolognese veramente saporito, così come la gramigna alla salsiccia ( forse di quest' ultima la porzione era scarna). Buonissima la cotoletta bolognese e i carciofi fritti. Da provare

Antica trattoria nel centro di Bologna, un pò nascosta e molto accogliente. Ottimo locale dove assaggiare la tipica cotoletta alla bolognese. Servizio cortese. Consigliatissimo!

Last night was our 4th visit. Great neighborhood Bolognese bistrot. As always, tasty food and friendly service. The trippa was outstanding! Very good prices for such high quality. I don't understand why it's not packed every night.

05/05/2024: Cozy restaurant in a beautiful location. Good and very friendly service by the owners. Good menu with many local specialties. We had a good vegetarian meal there. Management also speaks excellent English. Highly recommended!
30/04/2024: We have no words, as a restaurant. After the visit to the Rocchetta Mattei castle and the Scola village, well, we didn't expect a friendly welcome The food was delicious, the place was fabulous. The scheff knows how to do it. The internal room is not large, but well cared for. I don't like talking about prices. Trust me. Congratulations to the owners.

Trattoria del Gallo

07/04/2024: Excellent simple, sincere home cooking. Typical Bolognese cuisine, menu that changes often based on seasonality, guarantee of always fresh products. Fast attentive service. Environment needs updating some details but if good food is what you are looking for this is the right place. Fair price
06/04/2024: The food was really excellent to my taste. After eating the first and second sweet coffee I got up from the table and didn't feel heavy at all. The service is fast, young and dynamic. The environment is certainly familiar
