Splendid place, with an atmosphere from another era, but extremely well looked after. Wine list with a price/quality ratio that is rare to find, menu for convinced carnivores, but still very tasty.

Trascorrono gli anni ma quando vengo qui mi sento sempre a casa mia coccolata e servita con attenzione. I piatti propoposti mantengono sempre un livello di qualità eccellente come pure il servizio attento e veloce. I l titotale Mario, come da sempre, passa a salutare tutte le tavolate indistintamente, suggerendo la scelta dei vini o delle pietanze o che poi vengono spiegate con attenzione dalla figlia che ne prosegue la tradizione. Mi piace allegare qualche foto ricordo segnalando che anche il prezzo permane sempre adeguato alla location e alla qualità del cibo.

La location è tradizionale ed accogliente.una vecchia trattoria che ha il suo perché.Il servizio è familiare e molto celere.Direi molto buono rispetto al contesto.Il cibo sinceramente un po’ una delusione.Prosciutto squisito, goulash mediocre, dolce buono.Il prezzo sinceramente sproporzionato rispetto alla qualità.Un po’ sopravvalutato questa la sensazione..

01/04/2024: Small brewery in the center of Trieste. Typical Trieste dishes of excellent quality. A special mention for the goulash with potatoes in the pan, truly delicious. Absolutely worth trying.
01/04/2024: Osteria with typical dishes of the area, lacks a selection for vegetarians but the staff is very clear about it (you have no surprises, you know it in advance).

01/04/2024: When we visit a new city, we usually don't go back to the same restaurant twice in a row... In this case we were overwhelmed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the owner so we were almost forced to return! Enjoyable portions and very high quality food, I highly recommend the boiled meat and the Giulianska. The Jota, Goulash and bread dumplings are also exceptional. We will definitely return next time we return to Trieste!
28/03/2024: First time in Trieste, lunch in this typical, welcoming place, excellent food. Definitely recommended!
