It's a tavern and doesn't want to be anything else. But what an inn! One of the best I've eaten at. Suggestive place, in a small square immediately after a beautiful medieval gate, very friendly staff and food with a flavor of times gone by. Real, seasoned and tasty ham, freshly seared black truffle omelette where you can fully appreciate the flavour, super Sagrantino gnocchi, very good and non-trivial baked boneless lamb. Bevagna is a very well-kept medieval town with its beautiful romantic churches and a relaxing atmosphere. In short, an obligatory stop when crossing Umbria!

Characteristic village, ideal to visit at the weekend, about 100 km from Rome, the "Osteria Baciafemmine" restaurant is recommended, excellent food, kindness and friendliness

Locale che si trova appena dentro le mura. Molto informale e gestito con simpatia da una coppia con lei in sala e lui ai fornelli. Locale che ricorda un centro sociale con molta cultura. Trippe in umido piccanti con guanciale. Parmigiana ed orecchiette fatte in casa con carciofi e guanciale. Buono il vino della casa. E possibile ordinare una bottiglia e bere anche solo paio di bicchieri. Prezzi ottimi.

Molto casalingo, onesto, sincero e accogliente. Si capisce che si mangiano cose buone, del territorio. Menù corto ma non ne serve uno più lungo.

27/03/2024: Nice location, nice place, wide choice. The pizza was quite good, the service very fast. The only strange thing was the tiramisu, with cream instead of mascarpone.
