Truly exceptional Easter menu, everything delicious, from the great variety of starters, two first courses, one second course and dessert, water and wine all included. Impeccable service. The place is not modern but clean and tidy, with large outdoor spaces also suitable for children. We were all very satisfied!

On the Appia Antica surrounded by greenery there is a Montarozzo where you can eat well and spend time relaxing with friends and relatives. We ate very special things and the children were able to run around free without problems. Absolutely recommended

Very nice restaurant with friendly, helpful and very welcoming staff. The cuisine is always of a high standard, with high quality dishes. Perfect location especially for Sunday lunches thanks to the large outdoor spaces immersed in the historic Appia Antica park. Highly recommended!

Excellent quality of the raw material, This is the research that we all have to do today. and here at Montarozzo it is found, starting from the seasoning oil, from home-made bread with noble flours, and so on. Fish baked in foil done to perfection, even with the upgrade of the food bag instead of aluminum for cooking. These are the details that make the difference. Congratulations and see you again soon

Cena con amici in atmosfera un po’ vintage con foto alle pareti di tanti vips capitati nel locale. Tradunt che amche il leggendario Aldo Fabrizi frequentasse spesso il posto. Oggi lo chef propone una rivisitazione in chiave moderna dei classici romani. L’uovo con sugo di trippa e l’involtino new age soddisfano sicuramente. Anche il dolce ottimo. Tranquillita’ e gentilezza rendono la cena estremamente godibile. Non do il massimo per i prezzi un pelino troppo alti. Ma bella esperienza

09/03/2024: Tonight we booked a table with friends from outside Rome. Why here? Simply because for 22 years it has been our safe haven when we want to eat well and with quality without risking a bad impression. If you are looking for a worldly or sophisticated restaurant, this is not the right place. But if one evening you want something Roman, interpreted by a series of simple and typical dishes, then the stop is a must. All, but I mean all, their dishes are the same but different from all the other Roman trattorias. Simply tastier and tastier without having to invent the impossible. I don't know if it's thanks to the chef, or the raw materials, but in 22 years there has never been a disappointment. Compliments! Simplicity and quality, without many secrets and pretensions.
25/02/2024: Very good Italian restaurant where you meet mostly Italian customers (whatever that means), good prices, impeccable service... I recommend pasta alla gricia, an authentic Roman recipe with pecorino and gudziale (pork cheek)
