Delicious seafood and friendly service

A place I visited in the evening for an open run. I visited during the off-season when it was a bit cold, so there was no outdoor space, but the inside restaurant still had a clean atmosphere. The waiter was friendly and recommended wine, so I drank a bottle of it. The food is clean and delicious.

Years later, I reiterate that it is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in, and I have visited many.

Everything is delicious, the place could only have this name....you won't regret a riot of taste and education of the workers

Traditional cuisine brings to mind checkered tablecloths and homely and approximate service. Not in this case: nice place, attentive, kind, welcoming service, but at the same time very professional: they remade our first course before we finished it, because it was too salty and they came to apologize twice. Traditional meat and fish dishes, with goodies (pannini of many flavours) that pamper the customer. Too bad it's not on the main street, but it's just a stone's throw from the tourist flow. Prices appropriate to the quality.

Magnificent meal. This chef really knows their stuff. Four of us shared the 'five flavours' starter, which is meant for two. You need to cut things in half, but it's delicious. We all said our main courses were the best we've had in Lecce and we thought we'd been eating well already. I had spaghetti with bottarga and clams. Couldn't finish it as so large, which was a crime. Dessert! Leave space for dessert! I had panna cotta with caramel sauce. Yes, i know I said I couldn't finish the main but... panna cotta called. And it was well worth it. Light, creamy and very, very delicious. Again, everyone declared their dessert to be magnificent. Interesting wine list and the staff will explain the options for you if you ask. Plus they will make caffe latte machiato for these poor Anglos who can't manage an espresso to finish an evening meal! Excellent service. We only found it because we decided to take a different route back to our holiday accommodation. So we wandered past and checked out the menu ... and we are so glad that we did.
