03/04/2024: Visited for a quick dinner, large menu at honest prices, excellent and courteous service, quick and delicious pizza, as well as the tasting of the CECINA went beyond expectations, all TOP, to be recommended
03/02/2024: Small pizzeria in the Sant'Anna area in Lucca. Modern premises with period floors. They have a terrace outside that is used in hot weather. Today at least there were no stoves outside, but there were tables and chairs in case a customer wanted to go out and smoke.
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS PIZZERIA:
-FOOD: THEY HAVE A WOOD-BURNING OVEN! , so the flavor of the pizzas is excellent. They have a wide variety of pizzas, classic, special and blank, focaccia, delicious fainà (cured meat) and cold cuts and cheese boards with jams in the case of a delicious aperitif with a glass of proseco.
The pizzas can also be ordered with whole wheat dough. The flavor is delicious, very tasty.
They also have a take away service.
-DRINKS When it comes to beers, I highlight the artisanal birra dell'Elba. Very good. They also have German and local (Italian) beers.
They have few desserts, but I recommend the ".......... Gianduiotto" a delicious ice cream volcano.
SERVICE Very friendly waitresses. They recommended the faina to us while we waited for the pizzas and they were right, super good. WE DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT, they attended to us and served us without long waits.
ATMOSPHERE: It has about 10 tables, and although there is background music, you can talk to whoever is sitting at your table without having to shout, and you hear your colleague who talks to you effortlessly. IDEAL TO BE ABLE TO TALK TO WHOM YOU HAVE WENT TO EAT YOUR PIZZA.
PARKING They have parking with some places in front of the pizzeria and also to the side.
CHILDREN: They have a small area for children, with a table and stools, as well as a variety of toys.
