Opened late even after season. Scenic view to harbour nearby. Mainly seafood on the menu. No meat when we arrived. Fried calamari where too salty. Friendly staff. Prices ok but not cheap. Would come again.

Ultima volta: 31 dicembre 1999!! abbiamo festeggiato il Capodanno del millennio. E ora, dopo 23 anni, durante una escursione sull'isola, ci siamo fermati per pranzo. Cosa dire: location in centro al paese, servizio al tavolo preciso e veloce. Piatti: trancio di spada alla siciliana (uuuhhhh!! una bontà!) e contorno di peperoni alla griglia. (ri uuuhhh!).

Ristorante scoperto per caso. Personale e titolari molto disponibili e super cortesi. Consiglio di assaggiare i loro piatti davvero buoni! Avrete l'occasione di gustare anche dell' ottimo liquore di amarene e mirto fatto in casa!!

Cucina gustosa, principalmente con piatti di pesce, ma con possibilità per vegetariani. Servizio semplice, veloce e cortese. Sala all'aperto molto fresca e ventilata. Crema di caffè buona e abbondante.

Piatti abbastanza buoni. Consigliata la frittura fatta molto bene. Il problema, come tutta Capraia del resto, sono i prezzi molto alti in rapporto alla qualità, considerando anche che abbiamo preso un quartino di vino della casa e l'acqua desalinizzata....

23/09/2023: Excellent and quality food... Friendly and helpful managers and staff. We ate swordfish and mixed fried fish with homemade dessert. All very good.... We will be back to eat pizza!!! Here I am!!! Came back after 2 days to eat pizza on the cutting board..... Fantastic!!!! Thin and crunchy pizza, delicious... Highly recommended.... See you soon!!!!
18/09/2023: The pizza on the wooden cutting board is decidedly good and digestible (the dough is made with sourdough); but you can't go wrong with the fish either (I tasted one of the best Elba caciucchi there, but you always have to book it because of the catch of the day). The prices are very honest.

04/04/2024: After many years I returned to this seaside restaurant, excellent quality food, good service, only one flaw, you can't bring the salad and then leave the place to chat, we had to ask for the dressing, for this reason I only give 4 stars for the service, 3 stars for the environment because I believe that a restaurant like this deserves more space.
01/04/2024: We went for Easter lunch. Very kind staff. The waitresses are a little "immature" but always very kind and helpful. What is not acceptable is the lack of cleanliness. We had lunch with wine glasses that were visibly not very clean but given the glasses of the other tables and since we are decidedly rustic, we did not ask for replacements. Personally and from experience when I ran a restaurant, the fault lies first and foremost with poor maintenance of the glasswasher and then with those who put the glasses on the table without looking at them. Good quality food with normal plating. The only suggestion is to avoid decorations with ground pepper on a flat edge. Personally I love pepper but there are people who don't like it. Would I go back? YES for cooking No for cleaning. I'm sure that with little effort they will improve the aim to deserve 5 stars.
