We were in a group with my son's basketball team. The cured meats were excellent and the pici were really good. I recommend it

We stopped on Easter Monday when it was pouring, we had to wait a bit to be seated but nothing tragic.
The idea of the counter with fresh cold cuts and cheeses ready both as an appetizer and to fill sandwiches to take away is excellent
Very generous portions of pasta, good, rich in oil
Too bad about the garlic one which was a little too garlicky and chilli
Overall we had a very good time and recommend it as a stop

I had been meaning to try this place for some time, it had intrigued me on my way back to Florence. We are on the outskirts of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and here you can breathe an authentic atmosphere of Tuscan hospitality while tasting typical dishes of the area such as pici or having sandwiches prepared with your choice of Sienese cured meats and cheeses. It is not an elegant place but it will win over all those looking for originality or authenticity. The prices are low, the turnout is high and the seats at the tables can also be used for a sandwich. Friendly and quick staff. Salami and fresh pecorino, a winning combination 😉

Absolute recommendation, a local restaurant with mostly locals. The food (there were three of us) was ready 10 minutes after we ordered. In terms of taste it was a surprise on a high level. The service was also very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We were at the Bar dell'Orso a few days ago recommended by another local restaurateur, certainly a very pleasant surprise, very informal but welcoming environment, quick and friendly service, abundant typical dishes with quality ingredients, fantastic garlic and croutons, prices affordable and also suitable for families. If I return to the area soon I will definitely stay here again!

Typical Tuscan restaurant, very warm and welcoming environment and food as good as homemade food.
I recommend the pici with turnip tops with crumbs, really good and simple

Ci siam fermati due sere per prendere salumi da asporto, pane e formaggio ed è stato tutto ottimo. Una sera abbiamo preso anche un paio di piatti caldi e son stati discreti

Bar/trattoria alle pendici di Monteriggioni, ottimo per un pranzo veloce e con diversi piatti locali
In tre abbiamo preso un crostone con lardo, dei pici con cavolo nero e mollica e penne (senza glutine) con un ottimo ragù di cinghiale. Piatti gustosi ed abbondanti. Servizio gentile e veloce. Con acqua, un calice di bianco, 3 caffè ed un assaggio di panforte spesa di 43€
