This bar struck me with the quality of the croissants and the kindness of the person at the counter, probably the owner. The croissants are particularly soft and well filled with cream. The owner showed all his courtesy when - with a good smile - he insisted on bringing me a new coffee, because I, although politely, had complained that it had been brought to me without the croissant, while I would have liked to drink it later and hot.

02/03/2024: As a coffee roaster, I’m always thrilled to find a place that roasts their coffee beautifully, thinking about the flavour profile and country of origin. At Caffe Cognetti I found relatively lightly roasted coffee offering a house blend, an decaf option and a single origin from Congo. I opted for the house blend which was lovely, there was no bitterness, no singed aftertaste just a delicious, smooth, full bodied flavour. Accompanied by a brioche style croissant, it was excellent.
