Bar Mirabar In Venezia

We took the Vaporetti from San Marco up the Gand Canal (line 1) just for the journey and got out at the end - Piazza Roma and the bus station, We walked a few hundred metres back down the canal and chanced upon this little place with just a few tables - how lucky were we! Sitting beside the canal, I had the most delicious asparagus ravioli. What made it great was the addition of tiny pieces of chopped pear with the sauce and dressing: the tastes combined perfectly to make this the nicest asparagus ravioli I have had for a long time. Across the table my partner had a risotto with truffle that was equally good. The staff were friendly, the establishment was lovely (surely some of the most impressive loos in Venice!) and the food was great. Thoroughly recommended!

Excellent all around! A perfect spot sitting along the Grand Canal, service was attentive and pleasant and tbe food was delicious.
