A veritable museum of whisky and other spirits. The owner has operated this bar for 40 years and is an authority on spirits and mixology. The bar snacks were hot, plentiful and delicious. A true find for someone who enjoys a good, well made cocktail.

What an amazing find! We came across this unassuming bar on Friday evening having arrived late into Bologna, and we were so impressed by the drinks, coffee, and wonderful service from Gianluca. So much so, we went back on Saturday and will do for dinner tonight. This wonderful place has made our holiday, great memories ❤️

I would like to highly recommend this wonderful place. The atmosphere, the cuisine, the service, everything is exceptional. A rich variety of rum, wines and other spirits, which you can taste in the bar and order for takeaway. Pasta with truffles is absolutely worth tasting (you will get a natural shredded truffle, not the sauce infused with it, not a replicant of a truffle).

06/04/2024: The simplicity of an excellent lunch with genuine and fun service (the liquorice liqueur is wonderful)
20/03/2024: Second birthday as a family that we celebrate in this restaurant. What can I say... Impeccable service, friendly, precise and helpful staff. The first courses are excellent, fried crescentine are equally good and the second courses are no less. The off-menu items are also excellent. We will return for dinner to try the pizza. Next to the restaurant there is a park with a beautiful river ideal for a digestive walk. Highly recommended for any occasion.

Antico Caffe Scaletto

07/04/2024: I love this historic cafe. Very central location on via Ugo Bassi a few meters from Piazza Maggiore. The interior is elegant and tiny with the central counter and around the counter seats and tiny tables on sofas. Outside there are tables with service. The staff is friendly and smiling, the cappuccino and croissants are good, the pastries are excellent. The service is fast, there are moments of crowding but it is worth the wait. It's my favorite bar in Bologna so highly recommended.
