Arrivati a Grosseto ci siamo fermati al Bistro 19 trovando un locale molto intimo, con personale gentile e sorridente, che ci ha accolti con calore e ci ha dato consigli preziosi sia sulle pietanze sia sul vino (il Morellino Marteto della cantina Bruni ci è piaciuto a tal punto da andare direttamente dal produttore ad acquistarne alcune bottiglie). Abbiamo gustato con immenso piacere la Tartare, che era spettacolare, le buonissime linguine e la Cheese Cake finale in un'atmosfera davvero unica. Complimenti sia alla cucina sia allo staff di sala perché sanno unire maestria e sorriso rendendo il pranzo e/la cena un'esperienza unica.

Very welcoming place, the furnishings are very particular and studied down to the smallest detail. The food was really good and the service was great. We really enjoyed lunch, so much so that we didn't even photograph the dishes which turned out to be very beautiful as well as good. We will definitely be back!

My review is simple: it's a place worth checking out. In Grosseto, where I have lived all my life, there aren't many places that make you say that. There are - and obviously this evaluation cannot help but also depend on personal taste - but I would like to say that Bistrot 19 represents true excellence in our city. The place is intimate, especially in the winter season when it cannot use the otherwise pleasant setting of Piazzetta San Michele with its tree-fountain, but extremely well-kept. The kitchen is partially open, although the style makes it appear almost like that of a somewhat shabby chic style apartment. The tables are made of beautiful wood and I like to underline a detail that for someone of my size is sometimes a bit discriminating: the chairs are very comfortable. The table service is very kind, I underline it, very kind, professional and attentive. The dishes are refined and excellent, from appetizers to desserts, and there is no shortage of seasonal off-menu items. The proposal is completed by an interesting wine list, with some products that are difficult to find on those of other restaurants in the area. I suggest making a reservation, but you can rely on Francesco and his cuisine with maximum peace of mind. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Locale accogliente, semplice e ben tenuto. Cucina parzialmente a vista. Tavolini in legno su cui già troviamo il menu: poche scelte ma attraenti, nel nostro caso Tagliolini neri con carciofi e tartare di gambero rosa, Polpo grigliato con giardiniera della casa e patate arrosto. Tutto ottimo così come il New York Cheesecake. Apprezzato il Vermentino locale Plinio dell'azienda Bruni. Un servizio al tavolo col sorriso, professionalità e attenzione. Prezzi nella media. Un posto delizioso nel centro di Grosseto.

We are rarely satisfied from starter to dessert, but at Bistrot 19 everything was delicious! Perfect combinations and balanced flavours, accompanied by friendly and approachable service. More than honest account. The icing on the cake: we expressed the desire to share some dishes (starter and main course) and they were served to us already divided and perfectly plated ❤️ Too bad you're 500km away!

Every time it gets better and better, there are no more words to describe it. Perfect dinner in a delightful setting. Truly an exceptional place for everyone to try (and try again). Especially for a romantic dinner with the most important person.
