Bottega del Re In Genova

This place deserves six stars, for many reasons. Starting from the warmth that characterizes the decor of the venue, from the professionalism of the staff to the welcome, from the cellar which alone fills the eyes upon entering the venue. The tables are always masterfully set up, the dining room staff is always willing to satisfy every request (even a change of table for someone as boring as me 😊). But let's get to the dishes. The passion of the chef and her collaborators and the continuous search for ever new combinations give rise to a varied and captivating menu, with those inevitable dishes, however, that make the shop a safe haven (if you have never tasted the shop's egg you must do so immediately!). And what about the wine list, varied and studied, if you can ask the chef for advice, the perfect pairing is guaranteed!! Without a shadow of a doubt, for me this place is among the five best restaurants in Genoa. Congratulations to all the staff, continue on this path

Excellent value for money. A very pleasant dinner

Last night we returned for the third time, convinced that as always we would find impeccable service and excellent dishes to taste, but instead it was a disappointment. The previous times the staff had been impeccable as well as the dishes. Last night however, in addition to being "forgotten" in a corner, we received cold dishes. for the starter we ordered the egg from the shop (which I would really recommend to everyone) despite the request, the bread/focaccia was not brought to us. Which then arrived with the second. For the second course I ordered a fillet of meat which evidently remained waiting in the kitchen because it arrived at the table cold, and it wasn't even possible to report it due to the total absence of a waitress. When asked for advice on a red wine that could be paired with the dishes we received a vague response and to the request to be able to raise the air conditioning because we were at the table under the air conditioner, let's say that we did not have excellent feedback it was raised to then after a short while being lowered again. In the end we wanted to have dessert, but after a long wait and also being cold we preferred to get up and go to pay. At the checkout we weren't even asked if everything was OK. We were really disappointed. It's a shame, we entered enthusiastically, convinced that we would have a romantic and beautiful evening but unfortunately that wasn't the case!

A restaurant that I frequent often, it changes the menu every month and every time it manages to surprise me in a positive way... excellent wine list, competent and kind staff... my favorite restaurant in Genoa!!!!

Excellent in every way!! Professional staff, excellent wine list, elegantly simple menu and, last but definitely not least, every morsel was delicious! All this can only come from a passionate chef and owner! My compliments. Can't wait to return!!

Ambiente ideale da tutti i punti di vista. Tavoli ben distanziati, musica piacevole di sottofondo che consente di fare conversazione, cibo ottimo cucinato con equilibrio tra tradizione e fantasia. Ottima presentazione delle portate e cantina vini eccellente. Giusto rapporto qualità prezzo, da consigliare assolutamente.

Ho cenato con mia figlia alla Bottega del Re. Siamo rimasti entrambi colpiti da come tanta maestria si può sposare ad originalità e delicatezza. Il personale è accogliente e attentissimo. Menù molto ricco e davvero molto curato. Ingredienti e materie prime, tecnica e capacità di preparazione dei piatti, dalla focaccia, all'antipasto, primi, pesce, carne, dolci. Tutto fatto e curato con sapienza e amore. Cantina di prim'ordine. Se avessimo avuto una sesta stella l'avremmo messa..

Ho cenato con amici una sera, il locale è carino e accogliente, il personale gentile e disponibile. Ho assaggiato un flan di zucca, era un po' bruciacchiato, asciutto, con un lieve gusto amarognolo, poi un pesce morone, non era ben cotto, risultava crudo nella parte centrale, sia la mia portata che quella di altre due persone che lo avevano preso con me. Alla fine una tartelletta di cacao con mascarpone e crema caffè, buona. Il conto 50 euro a testa, con una bottiglia di vino in quattro

Ottima serata in compagnia nel locale. Devo dire locale curato con un mix di antico e moderno molto bello e ricercato personale cordiale e ottime pietanze. Vastissima scelta di vini. Tutto molto buono. Prezzo adeguati al quartiere e al tipo di cibo e vino offerto. Consigliato

Per una cenetta romantica e rilassante, abbiamo optato nuovamente per questo ristorante e la scelta è stata azzeccata. Solita atmosfera rilassata e intima, servizio educato, cortese e con tempi giusti. Cibo ottimo (gnocchetti di pane e porcini in crema di gorgonzola commoventi), vino ottimo Consigliatissimo
