Bruschetteria Torre In Brisighella

The first impression wasn't much but then the good, simple and tasty food really made me think again about the fact that we absolutely shouldn't stop at appearances. The owners were uniquely kind and friendly.

We stumbled upon it by chance on our way back from the tour of the clock tower and castle. Given it was lunch time and thanks to the scent coming out of the place, we stopped. The place is very simple, I would dare say vintage. The very simple menu includes some first courses, various bruschettas and cold cuts platters. Since it is a bruschetteria we opted for their strong dishes. Our group was eight people and we divided ourselves between platters and bruschetta, all seasoned with DOP oil from Brisighella. The presentation is very simple but of excellent quality. At the café the very kind elderly managers offered us samples of tart with various jams. The bill is more than honest. If you have no expectations of location, and of eating like in a restaurant, given that it is a bruschetteria, you will not be disappointed.

To come here to realize that some people are alive and fighting with us.

In short, about food... Pre-cooked first and second courses... being vegan, variations were impossible. But from the opinion of those who were with me they weren't bad... so I opted for a salad... Definitely fresh... good... I saw the bruschetta: 1 alone and very stuffed and they say this too is good. But the reason why I will certainly come back even just for a coffee are the owners... Truly delicious, courteous, sweet and ready to try to please me in everything...a truly top notch service...well done

Ancient and praiseworthy business dug into the chalk run by two elderly and extraordinary sisters. The bruschettas are good and the welcome and chatter are wonderful. In a place with its charm, you can breathe a gentle and not noisy Romagna. Italo Neri, Faenza

Today I entered this magical place. The rooms are from the 14th century and have a charming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and you feel at ease. It made me think of the ancient cafés of the past, which unfortunately no longer exist. Highly recommended! I'll be back!

Personale cordiale e gentile. Abbiamo mangiato dei primi e delle bruschette ottime. Ottimo caffè e prezzo onesto. Ci ritorneremo

Ordinate due bruschette diverse. Arrivate subito, già tagliate a metà e divise fra i due piatti: gustose e saporite, farcitura ricca, olio davvero squisito. Scambiato quattro chiacchiere con i proprietari. Conto davvero risparmioso! Torneremo a Brisighella e mangeremo ancora al bar Torre.

This is a great little place with a lot of atmosphere, a bit Fawlty Towers. The elderly lady who served us, who we think is the cook's mom, was delightful but slightly hard of hearing and sometimes forgot items from the order but this was rectified easily. The food was delicious and very cheap. Definitely recommended for a snack or unpretentious meal.
