Friendly and helpful staff, they showed me the dishes containing allergens and provided alternatives. Excellent food, good selection of wines, also appreciated the very varied bread basket.

If you are tired of eating meat in Florence, this is a great fish restaurant. In a historic neighborhood but slightly away from the most touristy streets, it offers only well-cooked fish dishes and also excellent desserts.

Very good seafood. Artichokes, shrimp salad and raw red shrimp were very good. The fish (orato) was dry. Great wine list. Recommended

Everything is always very good....I recommend the fried anchovies and sage...and also the mixed fried food....the tuna and amberjack tartares are excellent, the first courses are very good....in short, a guarantee. Well done Alberto Francesca and all the staff.

I would say that I was pleasantly impressed by the variety of dishes and their goodness, it's difficult to do better! Friendly and helpful staff.
Update to 2024, I confirm everything and add that if they can they have also improved with space firsts, the second ones on the next lap!

È già la seconda volta che ci torno, quando ho voglia di buon pesce a Firenze Burro & Acciughe non si smentisce mai. Ho gustato delle ottime linguine ai gamberi, ho fatto anche la scarpetta con il buon pane che ti servono, il fritto di pesce fantastico, leggero e asciutto, il personale gentilissimo e accogliente, il locale è molto carino e tranquillo.Il conto finale onestissimo vista anche l’alta qualità degli ingredienti.

Con la famiglia abbiamo cenato per la prima volta in questo ristorante ubicato in Oltrarno a Firenze.
Menù di mare ampio e ben articolato con proposte innovative e con accostamenti "mare/monti": il tutto molto gustoso
Ottimi i primi, in particolare i paccheri del pescatore, eccellenti i secondi fra cui il dentice al forno.
Ambiente pulito, piacevole e arredato coerente ad una tipica trattoria fiorentina.
Servizio attento, cortese e professionale.
Prezzi medio/alti.
