Unmissable museum in Milan for those who love contemporary art or for those who are intrigued by it. It offers temporary exhibitions, the last one I visited was that of the Australian artist Ron Mueck, whose photos I had seen from the exhibition in Melbourne. Beautiful and evocative! I found a queue at the ticket office and at the entrance to the exhibition, but it was a Sunday, so I was expecting it. The structure of the museum, despite dating back to 1923, is very modern and in line with what it houses.

The Design Museum at Triennale is simply stunning, both the building and the permanent exhibition. It’s fascinating to see how much of today’s everyday items are inspired by Italian design. We had a great time exploring the exhibition – definitely a highlight of our trip. Plan for about an hour here. There’s also a great-looking cafe in the building. We didn’t get to see the temporary exhibitions this time, but I’d recommend checking those out if you have the chance!

Excellent selection of rare Italian designs for furniture and household pieces.

It’s a nice space. Always good exhibitions. Nice store, nice patio. Service is good. Really, no a single complain. It’s also close to Parco Sempione for a walk before or after.

Nice museum, have a several exhibition options. Also after exhibition you must visit a nice cafe with super fresh baked croissants, friesh coffee and nice view. Must visit!

There are several short rooms and you can selfie which one you want to see. The Italian design is a must, the coffee is nice. There is a student discount, I suggest taking it.
