Caffe Lavena In Venezia

09/12/2023: We came across this place while wondering the streets of Venice and were drawn in by its traditional charm. The menu was extensive with lots to offer, and the food was great too. The only negative was the service which could have been more efficient and a bit friendlier. We tried to have a bit of banter with the waiter but he was having none of it. We also asked for the desert menu three times, by which point we learned that there is no menu, it’s just a choice of four puds. Overall we enjoyed our experience but wouldn’t rush back, especially when there are so many lovely looking restaurants nearby.
