Thank you very much, very welcoming restaurant. I have an allergy to onion, they made me sea bream without onion. Terrace outside is fabulous. Average prices for the area. Advise.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local acquaintance. It definitely exceeded my expectations, so much so that I returned a second time during my stay in Lucca. Modern ingredients mix with Tuscan tradition in a welcoming environment. I tasted a first course of paccheri alla trabaccolara on cannellini bean cream; a second course of cod steak on red rice and «cacciuccata» sauce; as starters I tried stewed pumpkin with stracciatella, anchovies and hazelnut crumble, cecina with creamed cod and cherry tomatoes, broccoli pie with sautéed cuttlefish and Jerusalem artichoke chips. Mi è stata consigliata questa trattoria da una conoscente del posto. Ha decisamente superato le mie aspettative, tanto da tornarci una seconda volta, durante il mio soggiorno a Lucca. Gli ingredienti moderni si mischiano alla tradizione toscana in un ambiente accogliente. Ho assaggiato un primo piatto di paccheri alla trabaccolara su crema di fagioli cannellini; un secondo piatto di trancio di baccalà su riso rosso e salsa «cacciuccata»; come antipasti ho assaggiato zucca stufata con stracciatella, alici e crumble di nocciole, cecina con baccalà mantecato e pomodorini, tortita di broccoli con seppioline saltate e chips di topinambur. Intimate and welcoming place, near Piazza Anfiteatro. Very kind and attentive staff. Excellent quality dishes. Amazing todelli, very good meat. Adequate quality-price ratio.

Abbiamo trascorso la serata di San Silvestro qui, c’era menu fisso con numerosi extra rispetto a quanto concordato e associato ad una interessante degustazione di vini. La sorpresa è stata che, nonostante fosse il cenone di fine anno, avendo un bimbo piccolo con noi, ci hanno anche preparato piatti a la carte, questa cosa ha semplificato molto la nostra serata con bimbo e siamo stati tutti benissimo!!! Il personale è stato gentile e accogliente e la preparazione dei cibi è stata all’altezza di un bellissimo cenone del 31! Bel modo per salutare il vecchio anno e accogliere il nuovo, grazie canuleia!
