Very small place so booking is almost a must!
Arriving at this historic trattoria, I order a glass of wine, braised agnolotti and Guanciotto braised meat... all fabulous! Excellent agnolotti, meat that melts in your mouth, very tasty..coffee served in an original way with cafeteria at the table, top quality/price, from memory I have rarely eaten so well, highly recommended!!

It's always nice to "come home".
It's a small restaurant with just a few tables (booking is a must to be safe!!) but the food is excellent, the owner nice, friendly and communicative.
The cuisine is strictly Piedmontese, of excellent quality.
It is a place for Turin gourmets, but also for tourists who want to taste the real tastes/foods of Piedmont. Not just food, but also drink: also supplied with good bottled wines.
Finally, as you sit down, take a look at the seat 😉

It was my first time in Turin and the first time I ate Piedmontese cuisine and I must say that I had a wonderful experience. The place is small but luckily we managed to find a table at the last moment. The braised agnolotti and the gnocchi with melted cheese are delicious... both truly heavenly. Unfortunately we were too full to take the second course but it all looked very good. Family and welcoming environment. Average price. Highly recommend.
Quiello che a Torino, tra le altre mille cose mi piace, è che trattorie come Carmen non sono dei "falsi storici" ma sono originali. Atmosfera domestica a parte la cucina, nella migliore tradizione piemontese, è davvero ottima. Dall'insalata russa, tartare di Fassona o carciofi fritti dell'antipasto, fino al Bonèt ed il caffè, rigorosamente servito nella mo, tutto pefetto.
Tutti molto giovani, gentili e professionalissimi, bravi !
