As a Salento native, I always struggle to recognize the tastes of my homeland outside of Salento, but at Casa Maggio I changed my mind. I was there for dinner with friends a month ago, I enjoyed the broad bean purée with chicory typical of our cuisine, as well as the cod with potatoes... ALL EXCELLENT. I personally complimented the owner for having managed to keep the cuisine intact in terms of flavours, aromas and dishes! I haven't tried the pasticciotto, but next time it will be the litmus test

We had a family lunch and we were 10 people, two of whom had celiac disease. The staff were impeccable and went beyond expectations to please everyone. I highly recommend both for the welcome and the food, which in my opinion is very good.

Very good pizza. Really well organized and welcoming place. Real succulents are beautiful, fake ones are less beautiful: I find that a place like this should focus entirely on originality (precisely because it can afford it). The waiters were really nice and friendly.

Pochi piatti nel menù ma tutti molto buoni. Attenzione particolare per i bambini, servizio giovane e cordiale. Tempo di attesa leggermente lunghi, ma il locale era pieno e un po' di attesa forse è anche normale.

"Mezzocammino" ha una sua storia antica, come stazione di sosta per i barconi che, carichi i merci, arrivavano da Ostia per raggiungere Roma attraverso il Tevere: a metà del viaggio le barche dovevano fermarsi e esser trainate con funi da muli sulla sponda del fiume. Dal terzo millennio è un quartiere residenziale sul nuovo, parecchio allegro, abitato da famiglie giovani dunque zeppo di parchetti nel verde, con un'aria che sa sempre un po' di vacanza. Dunque, non possono mancare ristori d'ogni tipo e qualità e questo è proprio consigliabile. Maggio è il cognome del ristoratore e Casa vorrebbe dare una suggestione d'ambiente di famiglia. Si definisce "pizzeria con cucina", un po' riduttivamente, con una buona cucina tipica, varia, di taglio regionale, che si legge su un bel menù a fisarmonica. Ambiente curato, gradevole, con un conto sul medio.
