We had a wonderful time here. The entire staff is very friendly and you immediately feel at home. The two terraces offer a fantastic view for dining. Also a big compliment and thank you to the kitchen. Price and performance really fit here. I can only recommend this hotel.

Thurnstein Castle is always worth a visit. Fantastic location, excellent cuisine, great service and the lady and lord of the castle ensure that you feel completely at home there.

Schönes altes Schloss. Wir haben drei Tage hier gewohnt. Ganz besonders möchten wir hervorheben das die Küche ausgezeichnet ist. Wir haben selten so gut gegessen. Personal und Gastgeber möchte ich besonders hervorheben. Horst und Astrid Tegethoff

Wir durften einen angenehmen Abend im September bei 24 Grad auf der Schlossterrasse verbringen und wir wurden aufmerksam bedient. Preis/Leistung stimmen und die Aussicht bekommt man noch dazu. Einige Speiseempfehlungen, die nicht auf der Karte standen, z.B. super zarte Spanferkelkoteletts.

Malga Gampenalm

19/03/2024: We visited several times over a number of years, and the team at Gampen Alm always gave us their best. The Apfelstrudel is amazing, and we also enjoy the coffee. The location is almost perfect, a great place to have as the way point for a hike. Out first visit in 2019 was with a snow shoe hiking group lead by Seb. That day we also met a wonderful gentleman and his Alpenländische Dachsbracke. The dog was a delight to cuddle. It inspired us to adopt our own dog two years later. In 2024 we came back to the Gampen Alm with our dog Norah, an Austrian Pincher. On the way up to the cabin we even crossed paths again with Seb who was snowshoe hiking with a group again. What a nice coincidence! We fully expect to visit the Gampen Alm again in the future.
01/03/2024: We chose the Gampenalm as the destination for our little winter hike. Great location 👍 We received very friendly service and enjoyed the bacon dumpling soup. Delicious. very good price-performance ratio. We will definitely be back By the way, our dog was very welcome Thank you for the good hospitality
