The ice cream is good/very good... The service is always kind and quite fast... But I have to say that €3.3 / €3.7 is a bit high for an ice cream...

If you find yourself passing through Gallipoli and want something sweet, then "Coccolati Gourmet" is for you! Stunning place, wide choice of products and you can also do tasting. Very friendly and attentive staff, quiet and welcoming environment. We took the pancakes which were delicious ❤️ P.S. whoever writes negative comments about the staff is nothing true! Before judging people who work, try doing their job yourself. And before humiliating someone, take a mirror and look at yourself first! Believe me, I was embarrassed to read a recent review in particular from a dissatisfied customer who referred to an employee and gave her a suggestion to stay home if she was on her period. Reviews like this should be reported! Because they are real offenses to the person! Sorry for the outburst, I would like to congratulate the staff once again ❤️

Very nice environment but also very expensive

Lots of scenery and good quality but not excellent products. Even chocolate, which is their strong point, leaves you with an aftertaste that isn't exactly the most pleasant. I can think that the chocolate is not Dutch produced (the best in the world according to my taste) but is a mix of cocoa from various origins. The staff is always helpful and kind and the environment, even due to the large number of people, is not always impeccable.

I hunt down extraordinary ice cream, gelato and frozen custard in cities throughout the world. This place gets it right. I'll start with the trivial: They have homemade whipped cream and they'll give you all you want -- even in a separate container -- at no extra charge. Likewise three different types of hot chocolate topping -- white, milk and dark. The gelato is stored in covered freezers -- the only way to store quality, artisanal gelato. The eye candy displays of tourist-oriented places is not cold enough. The gelato at this place is comparable in texture and creaminess to continuous-run frozen custard -- absolutely fabulous. I tried three flavors over two visits, all excellent. Ignore the underwhelming star ratings: local Italians punish the place for their slightly higher prices over the other local joints. This place is by far the best in Gallipoli, and equal to the best I've had in Florence, Luca and Turin.
