I'm very sorry but unfortunately I was disappointed perhaps because I know the "paniscia" very well and the one I ate was not at the level of what many have recommended and described. I brought some friends who didn't know it yet and weren't enthusiastic about it... Too bad, but maybe there were too many of us! The lady who served us was too hasty and didn't even find time to listen to the request about drinks, so much so that you either drink red wine or water. Thanks anyway to the staff for their courtesy. I don't know if I will give a second chance in this case.

The right place to get to know the real Novara cuisine. The Paniscia which I didn't know was excellent. Absolutely worth trying. Wonderful staff.

Simple and clean environment. midday menu: first course (paniscia, recommended), second course, side dish with drink and coffee for just over 15 euros. Very good dishes and generous portions. Fast and polite table service. Top quality/price ratio. I recommend booking because it is very popular

Una bella osteria come una volta, calorosa e generosa. Panissa (prima esperienza) di una bontà incredibile, porzioni abbondanti e personale gentilissimo. Dopo la bella mostra sui pittori italiani a Parigi, nel vicino castello, una chicca da riprovare. Prezzi onesti. Raccomandato!

Tutto ottimo, dell'accoglienza alla location. Cibo buonissimo ed abbondante, buoni gli affettati, la paniscia gustosissima e ottimo lo stufato d'asino. Servizio veloce. Meglio prenotare! Buono anche il prezzo

La Locanda Del Buon Riso

22/03/2024: A great local restaurant with a 2 course set menu lunch for €13. We had pasta followed by delicious fish with orange and a salad. Seating inside and on the terrace.
17/03/2024: Very welcoming place with young, efficient and smiling staff. We really appreciated the fish and vegetable starter, the pizza was excellent with a thin and delicious base, the Neapolitan pastiera was extraordinary. A valid alternative to lunch on the lakefront, here at the club there is plenty of free parking, a beautiful view of the church and the surrounding countryside and lots of tranquility
