Sono stata al CO.MO bistrot sia per un aperitivo sia per un pranzo. La location è incredibile, veramente superlativa. Il servizio è discreto e gentile. Il cibo molto buono (consiglio in particolare la pasta vongole e bottarga e la focaccia con scampi crudi e avocado). Il conto è ovviamente proporzionato rispetto alla location - Sto sempre bene al Mandarin, lo consglio!

Great place to enjoy the beautiful lake Como. Nice staff even though booking a table wasn’t easy, the online booking app doesn’t work and spelling your name by phone to make a reservation - when you are not Italian, is a risky business 😅 The food was exquisite and the staff super nice. Tks a lot. Difficult to be disappointed by the Mandarin Oriental👌

What can I say? Even if the food wasn't the best in the universe the place may be the most beautiful in the known universe. A moment here is a moment lost in time. I appreciated the elevated plating and presentation of everything. The desert especially was beautiful and delicious. We were lucky to have a table right next to the water. Highly recommend making a stop here for lunch if you can! Vegan options and able to accommodate vegan / plant-based no problemo.

Crotto Mirabel

20/03/2024: We went to Crotto Mirabel on a Saturday for lunch. The restaurant is located in a very quiet area overlooking Lake Lugano. The menu was fixed and included a starter of cured meats and cheeses, polenta ounce (very good), braised meat with polenta, wild boar, wine, water, desserts, coffee, bitters... all for 27 euros each. Very honest. The only flaw (not of the restaurant, but in general) is that that day there was absolutely no one there, we were the only customers and it was a bit strange For the rest everything was excellent and we will definitely return
28/01/2024: We found this crotto by chance and fell in love with it. The view is wonderful, the food excellent, the service fast and very friendly. Wild boar with raisins... what can I say AMAZING!!! PS: very nice place for children too.
