Excellent restaurant in Testaccio. The chef must be a character. Carbonara out of the ordinary. Tiramisu has never been so good. Impossible to rate it as amazing.

Having worked in the kitchen for many years and having visited many restaurants, it is difficult to surprise me.
Instead, last night, to celebrate my wife's birthday, I was here and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to find such a perfect balance between tradition and creativity. Extraordinary raw materials served with great taste and elegance. Worthy mention goes to the oxtail tortelli, homemade puff pastry and a balanced and tasty filling. Not least are the traditional Roman dishes such as cacio e pepe and carbonara (one of the best in Rome). But also the chicken suppli, taste them, I won't tell you anything! And then the dining room, minimal but fun like the kitchen and masterfully directed!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

encouraged by the comments, I'll try it for lunch. We order bao with pilaf as a starter. For the modest sum of 11 Euros, 2 small pieces of this Chinese bread filled with 1 bit of bagnapò are brought, a price completely out of the market, a dish that did not shine for its goodness. Followed by a carbonara...which for me is a religion...it didn't look bad to the eye, but to the taste, it's the first time it's happened to me, in addition to the egg and pecorino there was a sort of Philadelphia-style fresh cheese mixed in ....we didn't like it. Also took some fettuccine with mutton. The pasta did not combine well with the sauce and was bland. the Castrato sauce lacked onion and celery... The quality of the pasta for both first courses was very high.
Bread is not brought automatically, but the waiter asks you whether you want it or not, of course it is of excellent quality, as is the oil that is brought... but it is charged separately. I read in the comments that it is written in the menu... but we didn't think so. Service: the boy who served us, how gloomy, without a smile and zero empathy... which I don't feel comfortable with.

I had lunch in this restaurant in Testaccio on the recommendation of Roman friends. The place is very nice and quite small. Present and competent service. The food is excellent, combining traditional dishes with the most innovative and very interesting proposals. Carbonara and tiramisu to applaud. Price more than correct

Excellent cheek, amatriciana average and with bacon too crunchy, grass pea soup and black cabbage to be improved.
Nice place with knowledgeable and courteous staff.

This was an amazing restaurant. I felt like every other restaurant I had dinner at in Rome was merely preparing me for this one. Fantastic food and service.
