We discovered this restaurant by chance. The dishes are good and plentiful, the service is fast and present in the room. The environment is clean... a true classic from times gone by.

A classic Milanese trattoria, a genre in danger of extinction! The staff is kind and attentive. The menu is variable but remains classic. (Don't expect crazy innovations) At midday it is cheaper, in the evening more romantic, but in any case the prices seem fair to me. The area, Città Studi, is also beautiful.

Ringrazio il proprietario per la gentilezza, cosa sempre più rara a Milano. Primi a 5€, secondi a 8€.. il resto non lo ricordo. Pasta al ragù al dente e stinco alla cacciatora divino. Ambiente informale ma anche formale: dipende da voi e nessuno ci farà caso.

In vacanza a Milano , scoperta per caso questa trattoria e scelta azzeccata. Locale stile anni 70-80, servizio rapido e cortese. Ottimo risotto zafferano e salsiccia , mondeghili tipico e vino della casa di qualità. Prezzi onesti, sotto la media di milano. Consigliato.

Ristorante tranquillo e accogliente, cucina casalinga, rassicurante, senza sorprese, ma in senso buono. Personale gentile e servizio attento senza essere invadente. Un posto davvero piacevole

Ci torniamo tutti gli anni per una ricorrenza. Trattoria milanese con poche pretese. Cibo e vino buoni. Ambiente tranquillo. Consigliato!!

Trattoria Pepe Nero

02/04/2024: Today we had the radicchio and taleggio risotto!!! Strange there were also the Rossi rice grains which were overcooked (then I look outside and the Easter menu included beetroot risotto) so it was mixed with the leftover Easter rice... then second course there was the lamb with baked potatoes (same thing was on the Easter menu) ... I wonder, do I pay for the work menu ok ... but I expect to eat the dishes of the day and not the leftovers from the Easter lunch .... Very disappointed
