I returned to this restaurant where I often came a few years ago. The food is still as good as it used to be, the place is small, sometimes you eat with people you don't know, the prices have increased and this is normal but I didn't think so much, too bad. Good service. where I hadn't eaten for many years,

Siamo rimaste molto piacevolmente stupite per l eccellente qualità e genuinità dei piatti. Grande cortesia e simpatia della cuoca e della sua gentile figliola regina della sala. Ottime le lasagne tre al pesto e il coniglio alla ligure

Aldo da sempre è tappa obbligata per un pranzo informale, insieme ad altri avventori per fare conoscenza, e soprattutto per gustare il menù goloso e sempre ricco che offre. Antipasti sfiziosi con salumi toscani, pane toscano o libretti a richiesta, ottime acciughe salate o marinate quando disponibili. Primi che vanno dalla zuppa di verdure con crostini, minestrone, ravioli e taglierini variamente conditi, fino a qualche primo di pesce. Secondi: è lì che Aldo dà il suo meglio! Fritture croccanti e asciutte (acciughe cervella carciofi ecc), stufati (tra cui il sublime ossobuco), bollito in salsa verde, trippa alla fiorentina... Dolci sempre buoni... Che dire... Il difficile è scegliere!!! Rapporto qualità prezzo top!

01/04/2024: I don't know the old management so I can't say but despite some criticisms of the new one we wanted to try this place for the first time and it was a nice surprise: really tasty fish without being too 'botched' with the seasonings, generous portions, prices more than honest, very kind staff, characteristic restaurant atmosphere a little dated but it fits the bill... even the background music was appreciated! Very clean. Passing through but we wanted to come back the next day! See you next time... maybe during the day because the surrounding countryside and the town seemed interesting to us... maybe with a sign to indicate the place as Maps doesn't give the correct position (you have to continue to the end of the road, in the small square of village).
