A trattoria from times gone by, in everything, in the quality of the food, in the love and passion with which it is prepared, in the friendliness with which you are welcomed. It's been like this for years. Time passes, generations change...but always from the same family...but excellence remains. I have known this restaurant for over 30 years and it is always a great pleasure to return

The main reason for going here I would say is the atmosphere more than anything. It's a lovely restaurant in a rather odd spot and it makes for quite an interesting experience. The inside is well decorated and reminiscent of an old style tuscan restaurant. The place has a lovely garden for the summer as well as a parking lot. It is mainly frequented by locals and we saw no tourists at all, which is difficult to find in and around Florence. They also have a cute cat inside. The food was also very good but for the price the portions were rather small and left us wanting a bit more. Their signature dish that they're known for is fried frog legs so if you go do try them out as I've yet to find another place that does them. Overall a pretty good experience and I would probably go back.

Without praise without infamy, you don't leave thinking about how good a dish was, you don't leave thinking about how beautiful the place was or how hospitable and joyful the table service was, much less the prices and relative quantities... Perhaps the customers usually wants this...

Locale autentico con prezzi giusti e buon servizio. Si inizia con fettunta e crostini con il lardo per poi primeggiare con i ravioli fatti in casa, al tartufo nero (14€!). Ottimi anche i fritti e la selezione di vini. Dessert 8€. Imperdibile!

A restaurant not to be missed, traditional Tuscan dishes in a workmanlike manner, excellent service, good value for money

Three of us arrived without a reservation and they welcomed us without problems and with friendliness. Excellent Tuscan appetizers, classic but of high quality. Excellent off-the-paper chickpea and porcini soup, leek and taleggio lasagna felt like it had been prepared much earlier and heated up a little too much. Pork loin with grapes was an experience! Wonderful.... quality desserts, better the heat than the semifreddo. Two appetizers, two first courses, two second courses and one flan (excellent) for 45 euros each. The place is nice (except for entering and exiting the car park), perhaps it is at its best in the summer with the garden, the menu is varied (a wonderful Florentine passed by), but you pay for the quality, perhaps a little more than necessary. Two half-litre bottles of water for 5 euros are the kind of waste that such a quality venue could honestly save on. Friendly managers, perfect lady in the room. We stumbled upon it by chance but we will definitely be back.

Trattoria storica e cibo ottimo. Coperto eccessivo (4€ a persona). Ho abbassato la valutazione del servizio perchè anche stavolta la solita cameriera si è mostrata burbera e poco ospitale con i clienti. In generale accogliere col sorriso i clienti è importante quanto la qualità del cibo e del posto.

Der Besuch ist nur mit PKW möglich. Die Speisen sind exzellent, die Weine hervorragend. Die Preise sind zivil, der Service sehr gut. Absolut zu empfehlen.
