We enjoyed Ristorante Da Cesarina about a week before Easter. It was artichoke season and my wife was looking for some dishes. She found them here. The artichoke three ways was nothing short of phenomenal. Our main course was tortellini in a pasta basket, equally amazing. The only thing that fell short was our dessert, the tiramisu had great flavor but was a little frozen; texture was off. All in all would highly recommend.

Not convinced by the guide's comments starting with "the R" which claims that Cesarina is a "Chic" restaurant. Tagliata served on a cold plate, artichoke and scampi salad (4 tiny scampi) and an English suppa which looks more like a supermarket dessert. The most unpleasant thing was the service that came to take the order when we were barely seated. Asking for a little time, the waiter came back 30 seconds later. The rest of the service was done by a sinister and borderline unpleasant gentleman. No advice for wine (even though the menu is interesting). Totally overrated in my opinion, service not up to par, and disappointing food. we were very disappointed

I went there yesterday for lunch with a friend of mine, I had been there other times and like then yesterday too I felt at home, excellent food, if I can give some advice, given that other people like me might have difficulties, I would put a handrail in the wall that leads to the "toilet", the steps to reach the place, even if they are wide and not very high, I think that with a handrail to be able to lean on, it would be ideal.

The service was substandard, perhaps our server was new to the job? The lasagne was good but nothing amazing. One piece centered on a large white plate looking lost. My partner had the tortellini with ricotta, and supposedly butter and sage, but there was simply no flavor and skimpy stuffing. Overall mediocrity.

Trovato per caso passeggiando per Bologna, il locale mi ispirava e sono entrato. E' un ristorante di un certo livello, con camerieri gentili, eleganti e con esperienza. Piatti della tradizione bolognese, ben presentati e ottimi. Consiglio di provare i tortellini in brodo. Superlativo anche il caffè. Prezzi adeguati alla qualirtà del ristorante.

Siamo stati fortunati a trovare posto sabato 6 gennaio a pranzo. Fortunati sia perché le alternative scarseggiavano, sia perché abbiamo potuto gustare un antipasto di salumi con crescentine ottimo, delle tagliatelle al ragù eccezionali e un bollito misto di altissimo livello, sia per la bontà delle carni sia per le salse di accompagnamento. Prezzi più alti della media ma servizio attento e preciso.
