Good fresh cod and (almost) nothing else. Great atmosphere. Very nice. Not a restaurant, more of a quick fish snack bar.

A real gem in the heart of Rome … beautiful freshly cooked cod … puntarelle is amazing .. wine great .. service friendly and helpful .. just 5 mins from Campo Di Fiore ! Don’t miss it opens at 5pm !

From Filettaro you can have a unique experience enjoying a truly succulent cod fillet. The battered fried courgettes are also noteworthy. The restaurant has retained its characteristics over time: it is simple and rustic, you eat elbow to elbow with your neighbors at the table, sometimes exchanging suggestions and comments. I am always happy to return every time I come to Rome: it has become a ritual that I share with my numerous Roman grandchildren.

Good and tasty cod fillets! very spartan place. Prices always rising and opening hours unfortunately only in the evening!

It's pretty fast and furious, and the staff can make it feel like you're being rushed through the whole process: they hand you a menu, but really the only question is what do you want before the fish and do you want dessert (we had the anchovies and butter - seriously yum). But that's because the deep-fried, salted cod is out of this world amazing, it's why you're here, don't leave Rome, or even Italy, before coming here for the fish. Colosseum?, nope, I'm saving to fly back to Rome just for this dish.

Mythical place. Anyone who wants to taste the real Rome must go here to sit down or take away for a real cod fillet...and that's not all. Fair prices
