16/01/2024: A hidden wonder. One of those experiences that restore the desire to explore off-road places. At first glance, the place does not seem to be striking, the decoration has probably remained intact for years and is free of all unnecessary marketing. A perfectly dressed and made-up lady runs the bar, in the back her son bakes trays of various baked goods. A few products are displayed in their display cases. I approached the bar and ordered cappuccinos for everyone and without much expectation ordered a variety of sweets. My God, what a surprise. I had never tried something made with so much talent before, I had been traveling through Italy for weeks and eating absolutely forgettable and generic pasticceria. It turns out that hidden in this place, in a town that is also hidden, is one of those absolute talents that is rarely seen in the kitchen. Tradition, noble ingredients and attention from other times. Wherever you are, travel to try it.
