If one stops at appearances one wouldn't even enter, but if one looks for the essence one can go peacefully. We stopped by chance for lunch before going to the airport for the return flight and we were extremely enthusiastic about it. Friendly service and tasty, good quality food. The place itself leaves you a little perplexed by how stuck it is in the 80s, it certainly needs a revamp, but ultimately I think it can be considered its charm. We left there full, entertained and satisfied. The price paid was more than honest. We are happy that we didn't stop at appearances.

From Marzamemi on the road to Catania airport it was impossible to find a bar or restaurant open as the end of October was out of season. We found El Torero by luck. We wanted a quick snack and it was perfect for the purpose.
