Tutto molto buono a partire dalla grande scelta di vini a passare ai cicchetti che vengono serviti in abbinamento, ottimo il servizio e super simpatico il ragazzo che sta al bancone. Peccato per il tagliere che nonostante l’ ottima qualità ci è costato 18€ e credetemi a parere nostro non era affatto un tagliere da far pagare 18€ . Comunque un locale da provare se si è degli amanti del vino.

Wine tasting here is a MUST in Montepulciano, very different from other places. Good food, good wine, very nice people!

Amazing experience! Very welcoming and friendly staff with excelent english recommended us local wine (Barbicaia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2020). Food platter for 6persons with mixed local dishes was 10/10! They also checked for any food alergies which was in my opinion very thoughtful. Must visit when in Montepulciano!

What can I say about this place... We came across it by chance, we tasted some wine before buying some for a modest sum. The waiter, despite the fact that he was alone, took the time to explain to each person in the most appropriate language (French for us) all his knowledge about wine, whether from here or elsewhere. His effort and his time-taking are priceless, a kindness that feels good and one of the places we preferred during our Italian trip. Thank you a thousand times for this timeless moment.

What to say! Lovely place, really excellent and well presented cutting boards and dips. Nice choice of local wines but not only. Then there is Raffaele, the manager, very competent and affable, with whom we pleasantly chat. Absolutely to return.

The waiter/ owner made us feel more than welcome and took that little bit extra devotion that you seldom see these days . Know's his products and natural hospitallity. 10 / 10

Beautiful little place to enjoy a glass of wine and a snack board full of cheese and meat.

It was only for a light lunch and a glass of wine that we popped in at Caratello’s, but what a nice experience. The passion in the presentation of the food and the wines was so intense, that it turned us into happy people. Nice crostini with truffle, and great wind selection too!

Excellent wine bar in the heart of Montepulciano. Friendly and knowledgeable owner. Focus on the local Vino Nobile and organic / biodynamic wine from the region. Quality and great value.
