Tagliare e tartare. Ottimo vino di Bolgheri. Da riprovare assolutamente con altra compagnia in altro contesto ma il primo approccio è stato ottimo. Consigliato.

How this restaurant is not rated as one of the best experiences in Tuscany is beyond me. Our family grouping of 10 had fantastic meals that was coupled with brilliant service. A bonus is the sommelier lived in Sydney, Australia for 8 years and was the sommelier at Bondi's Iceberg so obviously English couple with a fantastic knowledge of wine was not a problem. Last but not least the value was excellent. We decided to go to the restaurant as it was mentioned in the Michelin Guide and we could get a table for 10. Very very glad we did and would not hesitate to go back. Definitely a highlight of our visit to Tuscany.

14/10/2023: C ero già stata anni fa con mio marito…ancora mi ricordavo il menu e cosa avevamo mangiato…ci siamo tornati con mio figlio e tutti e tre abbiamo ordinato la loro carbonara sbagliata…indimenticabile!!!ci siamo andati due sere di fila ..tra i loro piatti forti la carne tartara e carpaccio ….tutto accompagnato da un ottima bottiglia di nobile …non hanno la carta dei vini ma ti portano in “cantina” a scegliere…il locale è curato e particolare …simpaticamente arredato….ci tornerei tutti giorni!!!
08/10/2023: Ambiente accogliente, personale gentile e alla mano. Antipasti ottimi come pure la bistecca (irrinunciabile). Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

06/04/2024: Spartan environment, but the vision of the flame, both of the fireplace, where the meat is cooked, and of the pizza oven, warms the atmosphere. The open and grilled chicken is recommended, a delight.
27/03/2024: Very large and spacious room, simple but nice furnishings. The scent of the embers is inviting and the meat is good. If you have celiac disease you will be satisfied with this, they are not equipped for pasta. The staff is friendly, the price average. A place where we will definitely return if we have to have lunch or dinner during a trip.
