Fabulous location but beyond that the difference is made by the courtesy, the care for the customer and the excellent quality of the food and drink. Serena and her staff are gold medalists, courtesy and professionalism, all seasoned with a smile, the main dish is meat, but all the dishes are of high quality, excellent local cured meats and cheeses, all served on wooden tables in perfect harmony with the centuries-old chestnut forest that frames the terrace surrounded by nature where the dishes are consumed. Excellent cellar with themed wines, excellent value for money, in a truly green location

What a mid-hike find! Friendly and unpretentious, everything we ordered was super-tasty, and the location, a clearing in the chestnut woods, is perfect. Family-friendly with play area for kids. We loved everything about it and will be back!

Found by chance on Google after various suggestions. Open air location under wooden gazebos. Local food such as cold cuts and grilled meat. Excellent service. Homemade desserts and exceptional liqueurs. I highly recommend it. Open from May 1st to November. Dogs allowed. Large green spaces around. Beautiful air and comfortable environment. We were visiting Cerreto Laghi and we were lucky to have found this indication. Evening with friends and good food with perfect location 🤩

Tutto bello e tanto tanto buono, l'unico problema, è che bisogna fare attenzione xke poco segnalato e facile sbagliare strada. Ma poi x il resto tutto ok.

Pranziamo in questo posto perché invitati da cugini, che da tempo ce ne parlavano bene. Incuriosita dalle foto invitanti dei luoghi, accettiamo ben volentieri, avendo Sassalbo nel cuore per averci trascorso due estati della mia adolescenza. Impatto molto positivo, postazioni in legno con tettoia, comode ed allegre che ti fanno sentire in atmosfera di pic nic. Iniziamo con gli antipasti, un mix di salumi e formaggi di ottima qualità, cui si aggiungono torte miste di verdura, formaggi accompagnati da miele e polenta con sopra i funghi. Tutto delizioso. A seguire, alcuni prendono la grigliata ed altri il tagliere di formaggi, altri ancora il carpaccio. Porzioni abbondanti di bell’impatto visivo. Infine passiamo ai dolci. Salame sassalbino (un rotolo di consistenza simile al pane di Spagna, metà chiaro e metà al cioccolato imbevuto nel liquore), crostata di marmellata, sbrisolona, gelato con frutti di bosco, torta della nonna con uno strato di crema alto due dita. Tutto spettacolare. Vino rosso e bianco mosso con le giuste bollicine. E per concludere, una boccia di prosecco, vino e mirtillino. Che dire??? Venite a provarlo, ne vale davvero la pena. A noi è piaciuto molto, difatti fine settimana torniamo!

Il caldo afoso della città ci ha fatto scegliere questa meta sull Appennino, per trascorrere una domenica in famiglia, un ristorante all’aperto all’ombra di un bellissimo castagneto, con un accoglienza famigliare e ottimo cibo sia i taglieri che la grigliata, come fuori menù anche l’agnello fritto che era squisito. Nonostante era affollatissimo abbiamo pranzato in tranquillità. Unica pecca, la salita ripida per raggiungere il ristorante, ma ne è valsa la pena. Ci torneremo sicuramente!
