Fattoria Toccaferro In Pescara

Thanks to an unusual Easter Monday dinner, I was able to get to know this place and I was pleasantly impressed. The location is pleasant apart from the sound of the television which happened to be right above my head but at my request the staff kindly lowered the volume. I devoured the pizza because I liked it, the kebabs were also good, which rightly should never be missing from the menu of an Abruzzo restaurant, and the french fries were exceptional. The bathrooms are spotless. I advise.

Tasty lunch break! Always good food, from starters, to first courses, second courses and desserts. Service not too fast but friendly and helpful waiters. Rustic atmosphere.

Good pizzas, meat dishes are also recommended. Abundant starters, good service, one of the best places to dine in the area

In the center the place is smaller than the one near the university, so the tables are quite close together to accommodate as many customers as possible (I recently went on a Thursday evening and it was full, plus there were people waiting outside for their turn) so there's a bit of noise. Despite this, the service was attentive and impeccable, very quick in bringing both appetizers and the two burgers (Angus) that we ordered. After the burgers we were tempted by a gourmet pizza (the Squisita) which was truly fabulous. Top food, nothing to envy of anyone in the area. I would just prefer perhaps more choice in beers, and the thing that in a purely personal opinion I don't like are the potato chips, which serve both as an appetizer and as an accompaniment to the sandwich. I prefer the one in the University area due to its size but also in the center it is a very good place.

Tried it after a long hearing at the Pescara Court, before leaving again: I found a welcoming, bright and well-furnished place. The appetizer based on local cured meats and cheeses was good, and the angus burger that I chose to follow was tasty. I'll be back to taste the kebabs as soon as possible; The quality of the wines is also good (Tenuta Ulisse our choice...). Trained and friendly staff. Good value for money, don't expect luxury venues, but a shabby environment that puts you in a good mood. Advised.
