Franchino Garage In Manciano

A few months later I am writing this review.. Beautiful location, unique for those who visit these areas. Gianluca is a man from another era, he told the story of the Franchino Garage (where among other things it is also possible to stay overnight), we were moved together with him and the passion he puts into his work, we will definitely return to try the meat. In this regard, there is a very wide variety of dishes (including vegetarian ones), low prices. The only flaw is that the sign is broken and is not visible from the road, so those who don't know the place are unlikely to stop and it's a real shame! Until next time.

If you find yourself eating in this place, you will be catapulted into an unusual place, back in time where eating takes second place, you will be captured by Gianluca's hospitality and stories. We received as a gift postcards with phrases and aphorisms from various artists...You can enjoy good grilled meat. Good value for money. Downside is the lack of parking.

Once you leave a slightly unpaved state road you arrive in this small village where one of the first buildings is Franchino Garage. A magical place in a town of about 50 inhabitants. The food is excellent, the vast choice of meat is cooked only and exclusively on the grill. The cold cuts are a delicacy, served on a cutting board we find wild boar mortadella, capocollo, finocchiona and raw meat accompanied by cheese. The wine is house wine served in baroque and the beers in bottles. The bill for 4 people was reasonable.

A hidden wonder, as soon as you arrive you realize the particularity of the place. Gianluca told us the history of his place and we immediately felt at home. The food is excellent, excellent panzanella and baked vegetables. There are several alternatives for vegetarians (panzanella, potato salad, cheeses and many side dishes). Cheap prices. We will be back to try the meat!

Good food is just a good excuse. Every nail hanging on the wall is a life story to be told from the great-grandparents to Gianluca and within the love for life that becomes testimony

The meat is prepared in front of an open fire and is therefore excellent. The side dishes are freshly prepared and sometimes exceptional (onions with raisins and pine nuts in balsamic vinegar) Wine from the local winemaker We can only recommend the visit

Es war perfekt! Das Fleisch war das beste was ich je gegessen habe, wunderschönes Ambiente und sehr nette Mitarbeiter! Für alles habe ich 30€ bezahlt! Öffnet ab 19:30 Uhr, unbedingt probieren!!!

Ho cenato un questa locanda e soggiornato nelle loro stanze, meglio che a casa... Una cordialità ed empatia indescrivibili! cibo ottimo! Posto comodo e tranquillo, vicino alle terme di saturnia. Si respira libertà ed arte... Grazie di tutto!
