The Panera flavour, typical of Genoa - or at least so we say - is characterized by an ice cream based on cream and coffee, which, like the Sicilian granita, should be obtained by freezing in small crystals without freezing, but for the perfect balance of the ingredients; in the presence of cream, these crystals are lamellar, giving a typical yield on the palate. This boring excursus is to say that for years, every now and then, I've risked buying the Panera flavor in some Genoese ice cream parlor, realizing that it's just a label stuck on top of a common coffee semifreddo... here, who make it a flag, it's perhaps the closest to what it should be; It's a shame that the crystals are found in the cream flavours, which are very well defined (it's not a given that the flavor corresponds to what's written!) but with a structure that could use some tweaking.

This store looks very old, and the sign on the signboard seems to have been in business since 1970. We ordered a tiramisu-flavored gelato for 2.9 euros. The portion was a bit too much. It was too much for two people to share, but it was delicious. In addition, the desserts in the refrigerator were also delicious. The cappuccino is also delicious and the store clerk is also very nice. Highly recommended!
