Excellent place for coffee, bakery products, and sweets. Low prices and smiley and gentle staff .

Albeit, I am an early riser (5:00 to 5:30 AM) - so very happy to find a bakery in Florence that was open at 6:30 AM - had time to wake, stretch, respond to emails and then enjoy an early morning, 15 minute leisurely walk from Corte Calzaiuoli. Wonderful, friendly staff who were very helpful. Saw a few locals starting their day off as well. Enjoyed a cappuccino and an Americano along with delicious pastries and an American for my walk back to the hotel - all for a little over 7 euros Looking forward to another visit tomorrow morning

Good bread and many types of stuffed and simple focaccia. Durum wheat and cereal bread or wholemeal bread. Pizzas and various sweets, together with the typical almond or chocolate biscuits to be dunked in holy wine. 🍷 It can be consumed while sitting at the tables or taken away. There is the possibility to drink and enjoy a coffee or have an aperitif. Many tourists so the staff, courteous and professional, speak various languages.

Loved by locals and Tripadvisor Forno Ghibellina has been serving Florence since 1890, a spacious interior unexpected from the street greeting guests who seek friendly servers offering a wide range of Breads, Beverages and Pastries. Situated on the street for which it is named, modern insides including a bar showing no signs of 130+ years, it is with Espresso downed that many exit the space with Cornetti in hand though for those with a bit of time a Pistachio-filled version justifies a napkin and fork. Less impressed by Sfogliatelle that break too briskly around Custard, a dollop of which can be found atop a textbook Zeppoli sandwiching Cream, it was on the recommendation of a woman at the register that an Almond Tart showed well thanks to a supple crumb sweetened by Marzipan.

Italian espresso and bread are delicious wherever you go, but since this place specializes in a variety of bakeries, it is also great for breakfast. The staff is friendly too!

Very lovely place, wonderful breakfast, delicious pastries, that they also had vegan! Had a vegan croissant with apricot jam, a soy cappuccino, and a foccacina with olives. Highly recommend this place!

We were so happy to return to Firenze and our favorite bakery there. After 1 1/2 years we returned and found it to as lovely as always. Gracious and friendly, always a warm greeting with big smiles from Christina and Davide, the staff 🥰 - they’re an example of how to run a business. Overflowing with customers, locals and tourists alike, very busy, they serve the best pastries and coffees with charm and warmth. If you’re in the Santa Croce or Sant’Ambroglio area, find them on via Ghibellina. Besides pastries, they serve sandwiches and pizza as well. They are worth the visit. It's difficult to find a better place for coffee and deserts than this one. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious.
