The environment is a bit chaotic at certain times but there is an upper floor especially for those seeking tranquility or even to study. Costs are slightly above average but it is justified by the location which can be easily reached on foot from the center of Varese or by public transport. Good aperitif and in the right quantities. There is also an outdoor space perfect for the spring/summer season. Highly recommended!

Sono stata in questo bar per un emergenza con la mia piccola, Eravamo fuori orario. Sono rimasta stupita dalla gentilezza del titolare e della e ragazze. Consiglio!

Ristorante Pizzeria Al Portichetto

02/04/2024: Pizzeria restaurant in the center of Sesto calende under the arcades. Good pizza, but the cover charge for a pizzeria for me is too expensive at €3 per person. Exaggerated.
30/03/2024: The main course was very tasty although the carbonara was prepared with bacon and not the classic guanciale. A bit sad that the salad only came towards the end and the starter was actually just ham and nothing with it, no oil dip or anything like that.

Ristorante Pizzeria Stampa

12/08/2023: Cena fronte balcone (da riservare). Carne e pesce di ottima qualità e cucinato molto bene con i suoi contorni. L’importante é non avere fretta. Se avete fretta consiglio le pizze che olfattivamente, visivamente ed a come venivano divorate sono ottime, sicuramente ci tornerò a provarle. Vista sul golfo di Ponte Tresa fantastica!
20/07/2023: + friendly, attentive service + good food (my fritto misto was awesome) + huge pizze + reasonable prices + the view + did I mention the view? ;-) Parking requires a good feel for the dimensions of your car. That one moment you wished you had a Cinquecento :-)
