In one word: PERFECT! We actually only looked for the GLU GLU snack restaurant due to a lack of alternatives including time pressure and were more than positively surprised! The dishes were lovingly and tastefully prepared, as were the staff, who really impressed. You felt absolutely welcome and comfortable the entire time, thank you very much!

Damn, a hidden gem in Pescara Porta Nuova. I must say that they spoke well to me about it, specifying how the kebabs were very soft and the sandwiches were superlative. For a series of reasons I wasn't able to sit in their few seats outside all summer... So in autumn, on the first possible evening in the company of my daughter, I decide to try. First of all, it must be said that one is often deceived by the external appearance of the place. A single window, inside a black and white room, no bright lights or systems to enchant the customer. But it's when you step inside that you notice the difference. First of all the exaggerated kindness of the managers, then the richness of the menu. We give in to temptation and get some fantastic chips with onion, sausage and spicy chilli that I still remember. Then kebabs of liver and meat. They only have handmade ones, and they are cooked with skill. Just right with salt, not inedible as has often happened to me, but their strong point is their softness. Low prices and fast service. It's a shame because the evening would have still allowed a couple of tables outside. A separate note on services. The bathroom is large, clean, indeed immaculate and fragrant, which is not easy to find today. I reserve the right to try the sandwiches next time, but the kebabs are irresistible.

Accidenti, un gioiello nascosto a Pescara porta Nuova. Devo dire che me ne avevano parlato bene, specificando come gli arrosticini fossero morbidissimi ed i panini superlativi. Non sono riuscito per una serie di motivi per tutta l'estate a sedermi nei loro pochi posti all'esterno... Quindi in autunno, alla prima serata possibile in compagnia di mia figlia, decido di provare. C'è da dire anzitutto che spesso si viene ingannati dall'aspetto esterno del posto. Una sola vetrina, all'interno un locale di colore bianco e nero, niente luci sfavillanti o sistemi per incantare il cliente. Ma è quando entri dentro che noti la differenza. Anzitutto la gentilezza esagerata dei gestori, poi la ricchezza del menu. Noi cediamo alla tentazione e prendiamo delle fantastiche patatine con cipolla salsiccia e peperoncino piccante che ancora me le ricordo. Poi arrosticini di fegato e di carne. Loro hanno esclusivamente quelli fatti a mano, e sono cotti con maestria. Giusti di sale, non immangiabili come spesso mi è capitato, è comunque la morbidezza il loro punto di forza. Prezzi modici e servizio veloce. Peccato perché la serata avrebbe consentito ancora un paio di tavoli all'esterno. Una nota a parte sui servizi. Il bagno è grande pulito, anzi immacolato e profumato, cosa non facile da trovare oggi. Mi riservo di assaggiare i panini la prossima volta, ma gli arrosticini sono irresistibili.
