Very nice restaurant and experience. It was our first night in Taormina and while walking Corso Umberto (the main street) we decided to try Granduca. It was a good choice. We were seated at a table by the windows and treated graciously even though we didn't have a reservation. Our waitress also served us a complementary glass of champagne. My fish dish was excellent.

We booked a table at this restaurant for our 47th Wedding Anniversary, and whilst it was not the best meal we had, the view was amazing. The staff were all over you from showing us to our table to leaving which made us feel uncomfortable. The restaurant had a lot of Americans in that night is the atmosphere was loud most of the night. The menu was varied and covered all tastes and the service was very good. The food arrived very hot and tasty.

27/12/2023: Very good pizza but the manager is a little scary in my opinion. I'm only talking about the pizza because I only tasted that but I imagine the rest is good. Excellent restaurant.
27/12/2023: Easy place to find with fabulous sea view, plentiful and well-seasoned food, well-cleaned fish and al dente pasta, adequate price; next time we will try the pizza! Advised
