Guidotti L'Officina del Gusto In San giovanni in persiceto

Italian restaurant just outside the historic center of Persiceto, visited on several occasions. The place offers both a menu of purely traditional recipes and a series of proposals where you experiment a little more and/or use non-local ingredients. During my visits I have tried both things and always found it good, particularly with the first courses. Even the slightly more original dishes often had a truly interesting outcome! Often a small welcome snack is provided, at the table there is also a basket with various types of bread in small loaves. The environment is organized into 3/4 internal or external rooms, it is informal and without excess. The staff in general are ok, occasionally they can run into some little things but nothing that should preclude an absolutely positive experience. Fair price for what is offered. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a rotisserie side where you can buy ready-made take away food or even freshly cooked first courses to take away as soon as they come out of the pan. Recommended for everyone!

Finally a cuisine without a "masterchef in the head": simple but well made, excellent, plentiful and also economical. Only the service was a little "rough"... but a bad day happens to everyone. Well done "Officina del gusto"

Really positive experience. I called to inform them that I had celiac disease and the staff was very kind in welcoming me and making various suggestions. Truly delicious food and many gluten free options (even among the desserts). Really friendly, friendly and helpful staff.

The food is certainly of high quality and tradition reigns supreme. The courses are varied and find a balance between classic and originality. The environment is welcoming. The service is kind, but it depends a lot on who serves you: initially we met a person who was not entirely "proactive". With others we did better. Overall, I recommend!

I liked the kind welcome and the quality of the products offered. The soup is excellent and the second courses are good. Very pleasant variety of desserts. Excellent experience. Update 8 March 2024: a little out of date in quality and service. It was better before.

Prenotiamo per una domenica a pranzo, ci serve una ragazza molto carina e affabile. Proviamo di tutto, dal menù del giorno al menù alla carta, primi e secondi e contorni. La cucina e il menù sono all’altezza di quelle che erano le nostre aspettative.consigliatissimo
