A small but welcoming place. Nice atmosphere, the food is very good, basically they offer a series of good and beautiful dishes to look at, I think it's a fixed basic menu which obviously follows seasonal products. Gustavo's cuisine is truly worth trying, I recommend it. There is no parking, you have to leave your car on the street.

We were staying in nearby Lecce and wanted to eat here on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Galatone and after having also seen it on the Remarkable Places to Eat programme we just had to try it. What a lovely place with fantastic food. Every course of our meal was delicious and the portions were very generous. So generous I sadly couldn't eat more than a mouthful of my dessert - Tiramisu of course - and didn't do full justice to the meltingly tender pork main. The welcome was warm and the service was attentive and friendly. The only thing lacking was atmosphere as the restaurant was very quiet on the night we went but we sat in the beautiful garden and had a really lovely night. Another post has mentioned this but please be wary of a booking via The Fork. We had booked for the Sunday night and had confirmation but something told me that this restaurant was unlikely to be open on a Sunday evening. I messaged the restaurant on FB and they confirmed that they would NOT be open so I re-booked, direct with them. I think this is the way to go but please do go if you are in the area. This place is a real gem and an absolute bargain.
