A great restaurant, run by two men, one of whom tries very hard to present us with local specialties. Very good cuisine, service A1. Excellent wines. Everything was very nice and nice to sit in the small guest garden.

Small and therefore very intimate place, with a pleasant and quiet atmosphere. The pumpkin and bacon crostoni are something incredible! Furthermore, if you are a wine lover, there is the possibility to choose from an infinite number of interesting and notable quality wineries. I hope to come back soon!

Piccola osteria, ma VERA! Nel senso che è il posto giusto se vuoi entrare per bere un bicchiere di quelli giusti, di quei vini italiani eccezionali che puoi trovare solo fuori dai soliti giri! Piccoli produttori, un Oste capace di consigliare in modo sapiente, personale squisito, e dei piattini che sono il giusto accompagnamento per la portata principale: il vino! Super consigliato!

Fabulous place, the host was very welcoming and chose beautiful wine for us with complimentary bread. We also ordered a delicious salami board!

Wonderful hidden place where informality meets taste. Our innocent minds were advised by a kind and competent gentleman (who also happened to speak french) who made us discover local, rich, and sane wines as well as excellent Italian food. To our request, he ended up giving us a small list of artisanal restaurants, far from the tourist's prism. We recommend this place to anyone passing by Bologna ❤️.

Trattoria Vecchia Roma

21/03/2024: Where to take work colleagues from Ferrara to have dinner with typical Bolognese dishes? I would say on the hills where since the beginning of the century you have breathed the air of a typical trattoria... convenient parking... lots of tables and friendly staff. Trio of soups with balanzoni, tagliatelle with wild boar and large tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (perhaps the only ones that are slightly dull compared to the other first courses). Then tigelle and crescentine with cured meats, cheeses and pickles/oils. House wine in carafe, water, and sorbet. Total €43 each. Price in line with the quality of the food and service, although I expected a little less.
