Hostaria da Bacco In Messina

05/10/2023: The archaeological site is located in the southern part of the island of Panarea, where on the same route we also find Cala Junco and before that Cala Zimmari the only sandy beach on the island. On this site, nestled on a sickle-shaped rocky promontory, a village was built in the Middle Bronze Age (1500-1300 BC) and inhabited during the Thapsos-Milazzese facies period. Inside the site, 23 oval huts were discovered incorporated into a rectangular enclosure, probably the open space for the animals. The walls were built with blocks and pebbles arranged in a double row with internal and external facades. Suggestive to visit for the beauty and antiquity that this place evokes.

18/08/2023: Remains of an ancient prehistoric village (3000 years ago) located on a stretch of coast overlooking the sea. The remains in themselves are not unforgettable, but if you make an effort to identify with its ancient inhabitants you can understand the value of the site. The village can be reached on foot, using Google Maps you won't have any problems, but In any case it is well signposted. Next to the village, Cala Junco can be reached via the same route
