Locale molto carino, dallo stile quasi provenzale. La cucina che propone è molto personale, parte dalla tradizione e la reinterpreta senza stravolgimenti eccessivi, arricchendola con tecniche e cotture sempre azzeccate, capaci di valorizzare tutti gli ottimi ingredienti utilizzati. Menù stagionale fatto di pochi piatti, tutti ottimamente eseguiti. Aperitivo con amuse bouche stuzzicanti e formaggi buonissimi. Antipasto composto da 4 portate, 2 di mare e 2 di terra, tutte eccellenti, con una menzione particolare per il paninetto con biancostato e caciocavallo, semplicemente goduria allo stato puro. Primi abbondanti e sublimi : lo spaghettino con estratto di cipolla e anguilla affumicata è uno dei piatti migliori che abbia mai mangiato. Morbidissimo e succulento il coniglio porchettato con scarola. Buona, ma non al livello del resto, la tarte tatin. Bella carta dei vini, con scelte non banali e giusti ricarichi, anche al calice. Una chicca i liquori digestivi homemade offerti a fine pasto, in particolare quello di feijoa. L'oste Peppino è il valore aggiunto del locale ed è una persona semplicemente meravigliosa, dalla passione infinita per il proprio mestiere e dall'umanita' strabordante, capace di metterti subito a tuo agio e di coccolarti per tutto il pranzo. Il personale è altrettanto cortese ed empatico, tanto che ho avuto la sensazione di mangiare in famiglia o da amici , cosa che mi è capitata ben poche volte. A completare questa straordinaria esperienza, che consiglio assolutamente, è infine un rapporto qualità - prezzo pressoché imbattibile.

Historic venue, an environment with a homely atmosphere like the two internal rooms with fireplaces, simple and pleasant furnishings. The affable and friendly owner puts the customer at ease. The menu presents traditional dishes but with interesting variations that give flavor and taste to the dishes. The plating is pleasant and the weight is right. Quality products. The entree was appreciated and while waiting for the first course, a beef carpaccio and pesto, as well as the roasted chestnuts before the dessert (very tasty tarta tatin) The pasta and purple potatoes with truffle, provolone and bacon are delicious, as is the rabbit escarole and hazelnuts. The price is absolutely "honest" and in line with the culinary and global level of the restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Probably the most exquisit restaurant in this part of Italy. They are focused on giving their customer the typical products of the Avellinese with a refine touch of class and french technique. The owner will assist you personally making the experience very "causie" but always with a nice sense of Fenshui. (Mise en place, decoration, musique.. always spot on). A must go!
